As part of our close-knit team, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside Orthodontist Dr. Nick Kotsomitis and our oral health therapists, Allie. Your daily tasks will include:
🦷 Intraoral scanning with Itero scanner
📷 Record-taking including photographs, digital scanning, and x-rays
👩🔬 Lab work
🔥 Sterilization of instruments
💻 Using Orthotrac dental software for patient note-taking
🫱🏼 Assist with orthodontic procedures, including band-ups, de-bands, retie, and clear aligner appointments
📚 Opportunities for professional development and attendance at industry conferences
We’re looking for someone who:
👩⚕️ Has demonstrated experience as an orthodontic dental assistant
📸 Enjoys digital scanning
🤝 Thrives as a collaborative team player
🗣 Excels in communicating with both our awesome team and our fantastic patients
🚀 Thrives in a fast-paced work environment
🎓 Cert III in dental assisting is highly regarded
🚗 Has their own car and a valid driver’s license
Owned and passionately run by specialist orthodontist Dr. Nick Kotsomitis since 1995, our practice revolves around exceptional patient care. We’re dedicated to continuously enhancing the patient experience and expanding our practice. We offer both fixed and removable appliances, with two newly renovated practices at Spring Hill and Chermside (we alternate weeks at each location).

Treatment with us means personal care from Dr Nick. We don’t delegate specialist appointments to support staff or replace all face-to-face regular check-ups with an app.
We believe in being clear when it comes to cost. Our orthodontic fees are truly all-inclusive meaning we don’t add retainer fees at the end of treatment just to make the cost seem cheaper.
Relax and enjoy visits at our custom-designed bespoke clinics at Spring Hill and Chermside. Both practices offer comfort and convenience with digital scanning, onsite x-rays and free parking.
With low deposit and 24 month interest free payment plans available, we are dedicated to creating a payment option that suits your budget. Alternatively, you can pay upfront and receive a discount or spread the cost out over 12 – 24 months with our in-house plans. Onsite health fund claiming through HICAPS is available for added convenience.
