Dr Nick Kotsomitis has been in specialty orthodontic practice for 31 years.
Dr Nick is one of Brisbane’s most experienced specialist orthodontists having created lasting smiles for over 11,500 patients during the course of his career. With a strong belief in combining personalised care with the very best of orthodontic technologies, Dr Nick established NK Orthodontist in 1995 and has been creating beautiful smiles for patients of all ages ever since.
With extensive experience in all orthodontic appliances, Dr Nick is able to offer his patients a broad range of options when it comes to their treatment. These include metal braces, clear ceramic braces, Invisalign and Spark clear aligners, orthopaedic functional appliances, and expanders. Dr Nick believes in taking the time to get to know his patients in addition to undertaking a thorough diagnosis of the orthodontic condition, to determine the most suitable treatment plan.
Dr Nick holds a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDSc Melb, 1987) from the University of Melbourne and a Masters of Dental Science in Orthodontics (MDSc Qld, 1995) from the University of Queensland. Additionally, Dr Nick is a member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists, the Australian Dental Association, the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and the Australian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics.
