Large uncomfortable metal braces have been replaced by small slimline ones and are still a popular treatment option for those with a flair for colour! Unlock the designer within and style your smile TODAY!
If you prefer not to be noticed then Clarity ceramic (translucent clear braces) or Invisalign Teen may be for you!
What are the costs of these options?
We know that your orthodontic treatment is an everlasting investment on your child’s appearance, oral health and self-esteem. This is why we want to give everyone the opportunity to experience the benefits of a beautiful smile! We want to make paying for your treatment that bit simpler.
Interest-free financing options start from as little as $10 per day and as little as $200 down payment depending on your level of health fund coverage. (CHECK ADULTS interest free financing options)
Typical costs (depending on the complexity and time needed in treatment):
- Conventional treatments (clear and silver braces) from $5900
- Invisalign Lite/Teen from $4900 – $6900
- SureSmile from $6900
At your initial consultation, Dr Nick will let you know which of the above treatment types are most suitable for your teen. We will then structure a payment plan tailored to your needs and will assist you with all the required information to maximise your health fund claim if you are covered for orthodontic services. So check to see if you’re covered for orthodontic services – and how much for. The item number is 881 and you need to ask what your life time and yearly limits are.
At NK Orthodontist, you can get the treatment you need, the smile you want and a payment schedule that suits you.
It’s important to talk to your health fund provider before you proceed. Most funds don’t cover you in the first year of membership, so don’t wait until after you have decided on orthodontic services to join a fund.
If your medical fees rise above a certain threshold in a year, you may be able to claim back some of these costs as a rebate from the Australian Tax Office. This is called the “Medical Expense Tax Rebate”. Orthodontic fees are counted as medical fees for the purposes of this rebate, which is calculated when you do your income tax return. To find out more about the rebate, and the current threshold, contact your accountant or the Australian Taxation Office.
