Three Simple Steps To Your Teens New Smile
The free specialist orthodontist appointment is an opportunity for you to discuss your concerns with Dr Nick. He will assess your teens smile and bite , take records and recommend a treatment plan that will achieve the best result.
Simply pay a small deposit (around $800) for your teen to get started with a 3D braces scan. They then come back just two weeks later to have braces fitted.

Dr Nick is one of Brisbane’s most experienced specialist orthodontists having created lasting smiles for over 10,000 patients during the course of his 30 year career. Dr Nick holds a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDSc Melb, 1987) from the University of Melbourne and a Masters of Dental Science in Orthodontics (MDSc Qld, 1995) from the University of Queensland. - Lump Sum Payment – January 2026 – Again, use our on-site HICAPS to claim your maximum amount for 2026
- Remaining amount on Payment Plan – January 2026 – We create a payment plan for the remaining balance of treatment. First month of payment plan is free as part of the Braces Saver Bundle.

Frequently Asked Questions
The average cost range for full braces treatment of 12-18 months (upper and lower teeth) is $6900 to $9000. If your teen only requires a single arch treatment (just upper or lower) or a short treatment time (less than 10 months) the cost will be less. During your initial specialist orthodontic consultation we will provide you with a customised quote.
To get started we require a small deposit of $800 (many orthodontic practices require $1500+). If this does not work within your budget, please let us know and we will aim to work out an alternative arrangement.
Once your teen has had a specialist orthodontic consultation with Dr Nick, if you decide you would like to get started with a braces scan, simply need to pay a small deposit. We will then set-up the monthly payment plan when your teens braces are fitted two weeks later.
Yes! We offer ceramic (clear) braces on the upper and/or lower teeth. There is a small additional cost to clear braces ($450 per arch) which can be included in your payment plan.
We have two convenient locations in Brisbane: Spring Hill and Chermside. Both our practices have free onsite parking.
